Guacamole

Getting the right avocado is half the battle one. While selecting avocados, press it lightly, if it gives way then it is ready to be used. Don't use overripe avocados.


 

 

 
Ingredients
 

 
Avocado 1 medium sized
 

 
Lemon juice 2 tsp
 

 
Salt to taste
 

 
Onion 3 tbsp finely chopped
 

 
Tomato 1 small finely chopped
 

 
Green chili 1 small finely chopped
 

 
Fresh coriander 2 tbsp finely chopped.


 

 
Method

  1. Cut avocado into half.

  2. Scoop out the pulp in a bowl.

  3. Add lemon juice to prevent it from turning black.

  4. Take a fork or knife and mash it roughly.

  5. Don't make it too pasty.

  6. Add rest of the ingredients.

  7. Mix well.

  8. Taste and adjust salt and lemon juice.

  9. Refrigerate it for sometime before serving.

  10. Serve with nachos or crackers or on the toast.
